Train connections
Jena is well-connected by trains to and from major cities like Frankfurt and Berlin. The main train stations are Jena West and Jena Paradies. The local transportation system is also quite good. There are several buses and trams that connects the city center to other main stops.
It takes about 3-4 hours from Frankfurt airport to Jena by train. It also takes about 2.5-3.5 hours from Berlin Hauptbanhhof to Jena city.
