Description

Accurate astrophysical predictions of the evolution of, for instance, binary and isolated compact objects, rely on large computational simulations, solving a system of PDEs modelling the relevant physical processes. These simulations are underpinned by a mathematical framework for discretising these PDEs in a manner suited to being solved on a computer. This workshop will focus on the interface between the mathematical approach to the numerical solution of PDEs and their applications in approaching problems in computational astrophysics.
