Description
The talk reviews the application of computational fluid dynamics techniques to flow equations arising from truncation of the functional renormalization group equations, particularly on the deep connection between RG flows and the convection-dominated nature of the resulting PDEs in a derivative expansion. Furthermore, I will discuss the applications of those ideas to study dynamic critical phenomena, particularly the simplest dynamical model constituted by a field that relaxes to its equilibrium state, often called Model A.
