Synthesis of Solid State Spacetimes

Description

The purpose of this talk is to share from solid-state side, how spacetime structures can be created. I start by showing how tilting of Dirac band crossing in periodic structures is equivalent to a frame field. I discuss some physical situations where such frame fields can be synthesized or created by design or external influence with pertinent experiments. I discuss solid-state manifestations of both uniform and textured frame fields. I show how a correct Bekenstein-Hawking entropy concentrated around horizon is obtained in our solid state spacetime.
